Position: Administration Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to support the Sales & Marketing Department with all administrative activities and be responsible for all customer interactions, which are mainly by email and telephone.

The key responsibilities for this role will be:

  • Answer telephone calls and assist with customer enquiries both on the phone and by email
  • Process orders via email or phone
  • Check for data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Contact customers to obtain missing information or answer queries relating to orders
  • Monitor and deal with customer reviews and feedback
  • Take responsibility for and collaborate on Amazon and other marketplace cases, such as infringements and performance notifications
  • Receive all post and log any product returns and process product replacements as appropriate
  • Support with processing customer refunds where required
  • Update Company spreadsheets and documents as appropriate
  • Meet and greet visitors as required
  • Support with setting up new marketplaces and new Amazon markets
  • Assist other departments as and when needed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous admin and customer service experience, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working with marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay would be a real advantage. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining your attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who has a positive "can-do" approach and as this role will involve communicating with customers from across Europe, in order to enhance the customer experience, we are ideally looking for someone who can speak either French, Spanish, Italian or German.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 with one hour unpaid lunch break. During peak periods, there may be a requirement to work 07:30 – 16:30 on Mondays.

Based in Hockley, Essex.
